Battle Night is a minigame involving two teams, one red team and one blue team, fighting each other to death.
/bn class <class> - Selects a class
/bn help - Displays help menu
/bn join - Join the Battle
/bn leave - Leave the Battle
/bn ready - Ready up
/bn version - Gets the version of BattleNight running on the server
/bn vote <arena> - Vote for an arena
After using the /bn join command, you will be teleported to the class selection room, where, obviously, you can select your class. There are 8 usable classes. (Photos availible in the Gallery)
Spy - Iron sword, Potion of Invisibleblitity, with the speed and water breathing effects.
Archer - Bow, enchanted with Punch II and Infinity I, 4 ender pearls, 1 arrow, full chain armor, each with projectile protection II, no effects.
Tank - Stone sword, full diamond armor, each with blast protection III, and the slowness effect.
Scout - Stone sword enchanted with Knockback II, 1 night vision potion, and iron boots enchanted with feather falling II also with the speed II and jump boost effects.
Pyro - Wood sword enchanted with fire aspect II, 1 flint and steel, 8 TNT, full leather armor enchanted with fire protection IV also with the fire resistance effect.
Swordsman - Diamond sword enchanted with sharpness I, no armor, and no effects.
Medic - Golden sword enchanted with Knockback II, 1 golden apple, 8 splash potions of healing, 2 splash potions of regeneration, and a leather cap enchanted with protection II
After everyone playing has chosen a class and punched the iron block you will be teleported to one of the arenas. There are currently 2 arenas named conveniently "1" and "2" You can vote to join these arenas during the class picking phase. Arena 1 is a circular map with curved walls and a deadly center. On this map, players can spawn on the four corners. The circular shape enables strategic plans to easily form. Arena 2 is more team friendly, with distinct red and blue bases players can fight on either side of the map, clearly divided by a shallow river. this map includes underground tunnels filled with traps, a cave connecting the two sides, and a natural arch, going over the river.
There is no official "Winners" message or any report that displays who won based on scoring at the end of. There is, however, a post game scoreboard that mesures score by person, and not by team. You earn 10 points for each kill, and you lose 5 points for self-caused deaths.
