The Crimean Proposal was an event organized by miner_frost of Crimea to form a mega-nation focused on prosperity of smaller nations and the revival of CivWars as a united power to keep it alive.

The meeting was adjourned with InvaderXYZ being elected the President of the newly-formed United Provinces of Civ.

Background[]

Before the meeting was assembled in Crimea, miner_frost insisted that he needed 4 nation leaders to meet to discuss a "proposal." He spread this proposal around requesting the presence of leaders to make this proposal to in Crimea.

Events[]

After settling on two current leaders and two former leaders (InvaderXYZ, Boywolfpup, Slimdude, bladeboy24) the proposal of a mega-nation was put forth, to preserve what remained of Civ.

Over time, more and more delegates arrived as the server became the most active it had been in months; with 16 players online at once. People in attendance included EDEJS of Teborte, TheLastLynx of Adelaide, Hooson of Blood, PardoFC of NBG and more. Interest grew as more people got online, even gaining a surprise appearance from the veteran player Pellaeon.

With interest in the Crimean proposal growing; many nations and towns got on-board with the idea and decided to elect a formal leader to lead their new mega-nation. Many people put forth nominations, most prominently bladeboy24 of Terminus. However, the nomination of InvaderXYZ of the Republic of Zen by Boywolfpup led the rest of the delegates to slowly place their votes on InvaderXYZ until she was virtually unanimously elected by the delegates as the new President of the United Provinces of Civ; a name suggested by EDEJS of Teborte.

The nation was formed with the disbanding of the Republic of Zen; and slowly added all the towns and nations under its control as the new nation was formed. The meeting was adjourned with the agreement that InvaderXYZ would write up the document of Governing and found the new capital for the nation.
